Illinois doesn't issue a statewide electrician license — licensing here is handled city by city. Ottawa's residential electrical license requires passing an exam, holding a $10,000 bond, and carrying real liability insurance. Astron 5 holds all three. Ottawa's license is even recognized as equivalent by neighboring municipalities, including Tinley Park.
